As 2022 starts and you think about your goals for growth, please consider running a position on the GAPNA Board of Directors.
Participating in a professional board provides both personal and professional development.
Examples include:
- Expanding relationships with colleagues who have different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
- Service opportunity for your profession.
- Developing your leadership skills.
- Providing direction on where you think the organization should go to support geriatric providers.
If “board life” is not for you, consider nominating a colleague who could help continue moving the organization forward. Call for nominations start February 21, 2022.
Open positions include president elect, secretary, director at large, and two positions for the nominating committee (chair elect and member).
