The GAPNA Planning Committee is now accepting abstracts for general or concurrent session presentation or pre-conference workshops at the 2024 GAPNA Annual Conference.
Presentation topics may address clinical best practices, innovative models of care, organizational change, unique strategies, and/or processes that improve outcomes and bridge gaps in care, analyses of current care, and case studies.
General, Concurrent, or Pre-Conference Workshop abstracts must be submitted by December 5, 2024.

The GAPNA Education and Research Committees invite GAPNA members (current or upon abstract submission) to submit an abstract about their innovative work for presentation at the annual conference. Presentations should enrich the advanced practice registered nurse’s knowledge and/or enhance the care of the older adult.
Topics pertaining to advances in gerontological research or innovations in clinical practice change, nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist roles or educational programs, or patient education are encouraged.
Poster and Podium Abstracts must be submitted by March 15, 2025.
The GAPNA Education and Research Committees encourage doctoral students to submit an abstract for consideration. The submitting author (and presenting author(s) if different than submitting author) must be a GAPNA member. Research and quality improvement (QI) projects must include the purpose, supporting literature, methodology, analysis, and results. If the project is not complete when the abstract is submitted, the student should provide as much information as possible and include the anticipated completion date. The project must be completed 45 days prior to the conference and results included in the poster. Students who completed their program and/or project in the preceding year are eligible to submit abstracts.
DNP/PhD Student Poster Abstracts must be submitted by May 1, 2025.
