Acute Care

Resource Guide Debuting

by Michele Talley

The Acute Care Special Interest Group (SIG) was formed in 2017, and members met at GAPNA’s 37th Annual Conference in Nashville, TN.

To contribute to GAPNA’s mission and vision, one of the SIG’s short-term goals for 2018 was to develop and publish an acute/emergent care resource guide.

So, be on the lookout for this free new resource! In addition, the Acute Care SIG hopes to help facilitate acute/emergent care topics at future annual conferences.

If you or someone you know cares for older adults in acute/emergent care settings, please consider being a member of this enthusiastic group – we need your expertise!
