Sonesta Nashville Airport has been designated as the official hotel for the 2025 Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurse Association Midyear Meeting.
A block of rooms has been secured at the special rates of $189 single/double and $209 triple/quad. These rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes, currently 15.25%+ $2.50. Check-in is 4:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am.
To receive the conference rates, make online reservations through the link on GAPNA’s website under “Hotel & Travel.” conference rates are available through February 4, 2025 or until the room block is full. Reservations received after this date will be accepted on a space and rate available basis.
Transportation
Nashville International Airport is 4 miles (7 minutes) from the hotel.
Sonesta Nashville Airport offers a complimentary shuttle services to and from Nashville International Airport daily between 4:30 am to 11:30 pm.
The shuttle departs from the hotel every hour and half-hour and departs the Nashville International Airport Ground Transportation Terminal at :15 and :45 past the hour.

Weather
A typical day in Nashville, TN in early March has daytime temperatures in the low 60’s during the day and fall to the high 30’s in the evening. Be sure to pack a sweater, light jacket or wear layers as temperatures in the meeting rooms may vary. We also suggest bringing comfortable walking shoes for your conference activities.

Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD)
Earn up to 11.5 nursing professional continuing development (NCPD) contact hours, which includes 11.5 pharmacology credits, for professional development, recertification, and re-licensure. All NCPD sessions contain pharmacology content that can be applied toward pharmacology credit requirements. Pharmacology content credit is time-based on the learning outcome and content outline. This conference is jointly provided by Anthony J. Jannetti, Inc. (AJJ) and the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA). Anthony J. Jannetti, Inc. is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Anthony J. Jannetti, Inc. is a provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP5387.
Guest Badges
Guest badges are available as a courtesy for paid attendees. A “guest” is defined as a spouse, family member, significant other, friend, or adult child (over 16 years old). A co-worker or an associate within the industry does not qualify as a guest.
Exhibit Hall Guest Pass: The fee is $165.00, which entitles the guest to visit the Exhibit Hall only. Guest fees do not include admission to sessions, meal functions, or corporate-sponsored events.
Cancellation
You may request a refund by the cancellation deadline February 6, 2025. All requests must be sent in writing to the National Office, and an administrative fee of $75 will be retained, per GAPNA’s cancellation policy.

In the event GAPNA should find it necessary to cancel or postpone this conference for any reason including, but not limited to, registration responses, strikes, or acts of God, GAPNA will note be liable for registrants’ expenses. However, the cancellation/postponement is ultimately resolved, GAPNA will act responsibly to protect members’ and registrants’ investment in the conference and association.
Payment Policy
Registrations will not be processed unless full payment is received with the registration form. If a check is returned by the bank for insufficient funds or credit cards denied, full payment must be received by cashier’s check or money order with an additional $15 processing fee.
Photo Release
GAPNA occasionally uses photographs of GAPNA conference participants in its newsletter, website, promotional materials, social media, and in the Geriatric Nursing Journal. By virtue of your attendance at the conference, you agree to usage of your likeness in such material.
Industry-Supported Presentation Theater
Although we try to obtain sponsorship for the meals listed as “pending” in this brochure, it is not always possible. We regret that if sponsorship is not received, those meals will be on your own.
Corporate-Sponsored Sessions
Some states have enacted strict compliance and disclosure requirements for pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers and healthcare professionals. If your state does NOT permit sponsors to provide meals during educational sessions, you may attend the session, but you will not be permitted to partake of the meal.
