Alternative Professional Activities Hours Equivalent for Experience Eligibility Requirement
Alternative hour equivalents may in part, or all be used to meet the eligibility requirement of 2500 hours of experience in an advanced practice role, working with older adults, during the last 5 years. These equivalencies can also be applied to the 1000-hour recertification requirement.
- The applicable hours of Activities Hours Equivalence must be in at least 4 of the listed activities.
- CVs highlighting the activities must be included in the exam application packet.
- Applications will be randomly audited, and selected applicants will be asked to provide documentation for all Alternative Professional Proficiency Activities Hours.
