After close monitoring of the evolving situation with the COVID-19, the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA) has decided to postpone the Contemporary Pharmacology Conference that was scheduled to take place April 14-18, 2020 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The conference has been rescheduled for April 20-24, 2021 at the same location, the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
The GAPNA Board of Directors made this decision after careful and thoughtful consideration of many factors, including the increasing number of cases of COVID-19, its impact on communities around the country and the world, the need for our nurses to be in their communities caring for patients, and the health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, speakers, staff, and guests.
If you are currently registered for the conference, we will provide updated information to you with instructions regarding registration and hotel reservations. At this time, most airlines are waiving change fees, and we strongly urge you to check with your airline as soon as possible as policies between airline carriers may vary.

What To Do Next
GAPNA is offering the following options regarding your registration fee for our rescheduled conference:
- Transfer - your registration fee to the rescheduled conference next year in Hawaii, April 20-24, 2021.
- Full Refund - your refund will be credited back to the same form of original payment. Please allow up to 8 weeks for processing.

Note: Luau tickets can also be refunded or transferred. If you decide to transfer, you can still cancel your registration and luau tickets for a full refund by June 30, 2020.
Travel Arrangements:
Hilton Hawaiian Village: Attendees should be aware the Hilton Hawaiian Village will cancel all room reservations made under GAPNA's room block for the April 2020 meeting.
Airlines: Please cancel your airline reservations. At this time, most airlines are waiving cancellation/change fees. We strongly urge you to check with your airline as soon as possible as policies between airline carriers may vary.
